Stimulating immune function would be an effective method to contend with HINI. Propagandized as unavailable, it has been available since 1981, when I published the fist of nine reviews on the clincally relevant, immunostimulating and antimicrobial properties of lithium and antidepressants.
Whenever I lecture on healthcare, I always pose one question. What is the ONLY marketing tool available to an insurance company? The answer is fear. The follow up question now is: Does it matter if it is a public or private option? Not really.
Now I ask a question that I wish everyone would look at for a minute; if you were trying to force an insurance company down the throats of Americans and your only tool was fear, what would you do? I think you would begin using terms such as; 'devastation,' and 'pandemic' and 'congressional panel' to add weight to it. Then you could offer a 'public option' that is so full of pork and side benefits that are not patient centered that it takes 1,000 pages to contain it all.
