> Duke University will conduct an assessment of New York State's Assisted Outpatient Treatment initiative, a program designed to provide safe and effective treatment for mentally-ill patients. Report

> Odyssey HealthCare, a hospice care provider, has settled an investigation by the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services. The investigations arose from two whistle-blower actions filed under the federal civil False Claims Act. Odyssey has agreed to pay $13.0 million without acknowledging any wrongdoing. Release

> The Ohio Attorney General will allow the Health Alliance to acquire Drake Center, a rehabilitative hospital. Alliance is the the largest hospital group in Greater Cincinnati and the Drake Center will become the seventh hospital in its system. Report

> CHG Healthcare Services has set its IPO at 4.9 million shares for an estimated price of $15 to $17 each. CHG provides both temporary and permanent physicians, allied health professionals and nurses to hospitals and healthcare organizations in all 50 states. Release
