It's not just a matter of time - it is also a matter of not knowing what to say. There could be a fact-sheet listing some of the most commonly overlooked pro-sleep factors: No stimulants (including audio-visual before bedtime) Be hydrated (drink a glass of water - never mind having to go to the bathroom; a de-hydrated body feels 'endangered' and won't rest.) Up your cardiovascular exercises during the week. Read a competent book about dealing with internal chatter. (I Want to Sleep - Unlearning Insomnia, for example.)
