--Primary Care and Specialists Included in Greater Than Anticipated Response--
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MissionPoint Health Partners, a program introduced by Saint Thomas Health, a member of Ascension Health, and a group of the nation’s leading health care companies, began operations on January 1 with more than 1,000 area physicians signed on as providers.

To date, MissionPoint has active contracts with 310 primary care physicians in the Middle Tennessee area. These network providers include internal medicine, family practice and pediatric physicians. The network also includes over 700 specialists representing nearly 40 specialties.
