Healthcare professionals to receive free expert guidance on effective cleaning and disinfection techniques
STURTEVANT, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Diversey is the sole sponsor of a webinar for healthcare environmental services and infection control professionals to raise awareness of the important role effective cleaning has in preventing healthcare-acquired infections. “The Importance of Environmental Hygiene,” hosted by Infection Control Today magazine, begins at 11 a.m. ET, Tuesday, June 15.
The webinar will be led by Karen Martin, RN, BS, MPH, CIC, director of infection prevention and environmental services at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Hope Children’s Hospital, in Illinois. Martin will share best practices in cleaning and disinfection for infection control in healthcare facilities.
