ACS Leadership to Address AMRPA Members on Positioning Outpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Programs for Success
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ancillary Care Solutions (ACS), the nationwide leader in helping healthcare organizations establish and manage physical and occupational therapy programs, announced that members of its executive team will conduct an intensive, six-part webinar series for the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA). The series, which begins Sept. 16 and runs through Oct. 28, will focus on identifying and meeting the key challenges of managing outpatient therapy.
Key ACS leaders, including co-founders and principals Hilary Hellman and Cary Edgar, as well as regional operations managers Sue Bowles, Jeff Weil and Todd Hixson, will share practical ideas on how to position outpatient therapy programs for success. Topics that will be discussed include:
- optimum program and site-specific leadership models;
- using benchmarks to improve provider productivity and program profitability;
- recruiting and retaining skilled, productive providers;
- compliant and efficient paper and electronic documentation;
- maintaining full schedules using a team approach; and
- maximizing appropriate payments – charge capture, clean claim submission and denial management.
“We are excited about this opportunity and are looking forward to engaging with the leaders of rehab facilities across the country,” says Edgar. “We are delighted to share experiences that we have observed in other programs and welcome the insightful contributions of our webinar attendees.”
“This is a wonderful chance for AMRPA members to gain practical knowledge that will help improve their own outpatient operations,” says Amy Cheatham, an AMRPA spokeswoman. “The leadership team at ACS brings a unique understanding of the issues and challenges faced by outpatient PT/OT/ST centers on a daily basis.”
