At the HIMSS16 Interoperability Showcase, attendees will be able to view demonstrations of new innovations that advance information sharing and hear industry insiders talk about how the industry can reach true interoperability.
Attendees also will learn about testing and certification when it comes to interoperability, knowledge that can help them purchase the best systems for their organizations and their consumers.
The showcase also will include presentations on HL7 FHIR, telehealth, application programming interfaces and more. In addition, attendees can go on guided tours that "illustrate a unique perspective on the value of connected health IT systems to consumers," according to HIMSS.
