HHS picks 21 members for cybersecurity task force

More than a dozen healthcare professionals have been chosen for the Department of Health and Human Services' Health Care Industry Cybersecurity Task Force.

The members represent myriad parts of the industry, including hospitals, insurers, patient advocates, security researchers and more, according to an announcement. The task force will meet in person four times this year, and they will be open to the public.

Some of the members include Senior VP and CIO of Cook Children's Health Care System Theresa Meadows, RN; Roy Mellinger, VP of IT Security and CISO of Anthem, Inc.; and Jacki Monson, chief privacy and information security officer of Sutter Health. Announcement
