PALO ALTO, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Palantir Technologies, the world's leading company for data integration and analysis software, today announced that it will showcase its innovative technology at the first Community Health Data Initiative (the Initiative) Forum: "Harnessing the Power of Information to Improve Health."  Using data sets newly released by the Government, Palantir will demonstrate how policy makers and analysts can use out-of-the-box technology to solve some of the country's most important health care challenges.  The forum will be held, Wednesday, June 2nd at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC.

The public forum, jointly hosted by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is designed to further ongoing efforts of innovators using community-level health data to empower individuals and communities to make informed choices about their health.  To support this mission, Palantir has integrated the newly released data sets provided by the Initiative with other publicly available information, and will demonstrate how both non-technical and technical users can identify vulnerable/at-risk populations, the services currently in place to provide them care, and the impact the Federal Government has on these communities.
