Kaiser's short-lived, highly-troubled kidney transplant program has come to a final end. UC San Francisco has taken over a post-transplant clinic once managed by Kaiser Permanente's San Francisco hospital. Under this new arrangement, UC doctors will now care for Kaiser's kidney transplant patients throughout the entire course of their care.
