Tool shows promise in curbing antibiotic overprescribing

A new questionnaire can reliably assess physicians' attitudes to and knowledge of antibiotic prescribing and resistance, in both hospital and primary care settings--and shows promise as a tool for characterizing prescribing behavior, according to a study published in BMC Infectious Diseases.
