Tenet Announces Park Plaza Hospital Appoints New Hospital CEO

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced that Park Plaza Hospital has appointed John Tressa as its chief executive officer. Tressa has served as the hospital’s interim chief executive officer since January 2010, and had previously served as chief operating officer since 2006. As CEO, Tressa will oversee strategic, operational and clinical activities for the 444-bed acute care hospital located in Houston, Texas.

“During his tenure at Park Plaza, John has demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities and a true vision for growing the hospital,” said Robert L. He initiated and sustained an affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine, which resulted in clinical programs in geriatrics, surgical oncology and vascular surgery.
