TigerConnect integrated seamlessly with Pathology, Inc.’s lab information management system (LIMS) to enable instantaneous delivery of critical lab alerts to doctors, without staff having to making a single phone call. With a dashboard accessible from both mobile devices and the web, Pathology, Inc. can send critical lab alerts directly to doctors’ mobile devices. With delivery and read receipts, TigerText lets Pathology, Inc. staff know when a clinician has received their alert, helping reduce the amount of time spent verifying the doctor received the message.

Recipients without the TigerText app on their phone can still receive lab alerts and access the information via a secure browser. All information sent across the network is encrypted in transit and leverages TigerText’s secure, HIPAA compliant messaging network. The network also complies with the new , which went into effect September 23, 2013.
