Dr. Mitchell J. Rubin Joins Specialists On Call as Chief of Neurology
Specialists On Call, Inc. (SOC), the country’s leading provider of clinical telemedicine services to hospitals, announced today that Dr. Mitchell J. Rubin, FAAN, has joined the company as Chief of Neurology, reporting to SOC’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Til Jolly. Dr. Rubin joins SOC with over 28 years of experience practicing neurology. He is responsible for building and leading Specialists On Call’s thriving neurology practice.

Dr. Rubin joins SOC after serving three years as the Medical Director of the Neurology Center at Capital Health in Trenton, New Jersey. Prior to Capital Health, he served as the Medical Director of the Virtua Health System Neuroscience Program and was the Director of the Stroke Units at Virtua’s four divisions. While at Virtua he pioneered TeleNeurology in New Jersey through a partnership with Specialists On Call.
Dr. Rubin received a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and served as Chief Resident in Neurology at Columbia University. Dr. Rubin served on New Jersey Governor Corzine’s Commission on Rationalizing Health Care Resources and currently serves on the New Jersey State Stroke Data Advisory Group. He was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology in 2009.
