Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists is pleased to welcome two fellowship-trained specialists, Michelle E. Horn, D.O., and Jung H. Park, M.D., to its growing practice.
Dr. Horn comes to Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists as one of the area’s first concussion management specialists. She completed extensive fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital and Health System in Bethlehem, Pa., in addition to advanced, specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of concussions in athletes of all levels.
Recognizing the urgent need for state-of-the-art care in concussion management, Dr. Horn promptly evaluates, diagnoses and plans treatment by working closely with patients and parents. Her goal is to enable student athletes to resume their sport as quickly and safely as possible. Also a specialist in sports medicine and family medicine, Dr. Horn focuses on non-operative conditions and student athletes as they return to the practice fields in late summer. She has served as team physician at both Quakertown High School and Northampton Community College. She also serves as a physician for students at Moravian College.
Dr. Park is an orthopedic surgeon, who was trained in hand and upper extremity surgery at a leading orthopedic fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. Park specializes in treating all types of hand and upper extremity problems, from carpal tunnel syndrome to arthritis to severe traumatic injuries.
Dr. Park has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals on biology and orthopedics, in addition to presenting his research at professional conferences. He is also a licensed medical interpreter in both Spanish and Korean.
