Sebelius to moderate roundtable, make announcement on health information technology at Cuyahoga Community College

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2:15 p.m., U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius will moderate a roundtable discussion about health information technology at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. Secretary Sebelius will make an important announcement about health information technology under the “We Can’t Wait” Initiative, which is a series of executive actions that the Obama Administration is taking to put Americans back to work and to strengthen the economy.

Additionally, Secretary Sebelius will highlight successful local, state and regional partnerships that have transformed the health care delivery system through the use of electronic health records, and will discuss how the developing health IT field has created new job opportunities. She will hear from doctors, health information technology students and professionals in the field.
