The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) parted ways with Highmark last year, but a new obstacle has surfaced. Pregnant women who have independent obstetricians not employed by UPMC or Highmark's network and who choose to deliver at UPMC-Magee will not be covered by the entities' continuity agreement, reported the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
