Title Time! Aetna to Crown National Winner of Wii Sports ResortTM Senior Bowling Championship

- Bob Eubanks to host “virtual” finale from the AARP National Event & Expo -

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced the four regional winners of the Wii Sports ResortTM Senior Bowling Championship. These four teams, who received the highest scores in their respective regions after competitions at more than 100 senior centers across the country, will compete for the national championship on Friday, September 23 at the AARP National Event & Expo in Los Angeles. The four teams are:

  • The Comets (Mid-America Region Winner – Solon Senior Center, Solon, OH)
  • New Britain Bowlers B (Northeast Region Winner – New Britain Senior Center, New Britain, CT)
  • Three Queens and a King (Southeast Region Winner – Horizon Bay at Hyde Park, Tampa, FL)
  • The A Team (West Region Winner – James Brulte Senior Center, Rancho Cucamonga, CA)

The final competition will be simulcast live from each regional winner’s senior center and broadcast live from Los Angeles, starting at 11 am PST. Bob Eubanks, former host of The Newlywed Game, will announce the final event from the AARP Expo, which can also be viewed online at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/aetna-wii-finals-streaming.
