Quantros Regulatory Reporting Management (RRM) Solution Version 6.0 Receives ONC-ATCB Certification by Drummond Group; Enables Hospitals to Meet Stage 1 Quality Measure Reporting Requirements for Meaningful Use
MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Quantros, Inc., a leading provider of data management, decision support and clinical business intelligence solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that version 6.0 of its Regulatory Reporting Management (RRM) solution suite has achieved EHR Modular certification for Meaningful Use under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality reporting initiative. Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, Quantros RRM™ v6.0 is 2011/2012 compliant according to Secretary of Health and Human Services criteria.
The EHR Modular certification for RRM v6.0 includes the 15 eMeasures in the following categories:
- Venous Thromboembolism (VTE)
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Stroke (STK)
As a result, hospitals adopting Quantros RRM v6.0 can now meet Stage 1 requirements for attesting to Meaningful Use for the following criteria:
- 170.302 (o) - Access control
- 170.302 (p) - Emergency access

The HITECH Act portion of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) calls for healthcare organizations that adopt certified EHR and demonstrate Meaningful Use to qualify for incentive payments. These will run from $2 million to $11 million from now until 2015.
“Stage 1 EHR Modular Certification further validates our commitment to quality measures. By allowing hospitals to use a single-vendor solution to consolidate quality reporting submissions across multiple regulatory agencies, Quantros is aggressively conserving our clients’ time and resources and reducing their risk throughout the complex quality measures reporting evolution,” said Dr. Gerard Livaudais, chief medical offer and senior vice president of content and product management at Quantros. “This certification enables Quantros to support our clients’ efforts to attest to Meaningful Use, and marks an important first step as we partner with customers throughout the Meaningful Use process.” Quantros will optimize the RRM application to meet the requirements of both Core Measures and the CMS Meaningful Use requirements. This is a critical differentiator, as the National Hospital Inpatient Quality Measures is a separate program from the Quality Measures for Meaningful Use.
As part of its Meaningful Use initiative, Quantros is committed to providing its customers with trusted quality reporting solutions that keep pace with how hospital quality managers report quality performance measures -- today and in the future.
