Private exchange CEO: 'People tend to find what they want'

Growing private insurance exchange enrollment shows that employers want to offer a variety of individual plans to a diverse set of would-be enrollees, Ron Goldstein, CEO of private exchange Choice Administrators, told the Orange County Register. This is particularly true of small and medium-sized businesses, which want to offer healthcare benefits for competitive reasons as well as to meet the Affordable Care Act's employer mandate. Goldstein added that, on exchanges, consumers increasingly gravitate toward narrow networks; these may not have the best hospital or provider group, he said, but "People tend to find what they want, and they are saving money."
