Prime has entered into an agreement with DRX, a leading provider of Medicare Plan comparison tools, technology and data, to offer this service to its members.
DRX's PlanCompare combines data transfer and plan comparison technology to facilitate enrollments and reduce costs. It allows Medicare eligible individuals the ability to compare available Medicare prescription drug plans and health plans within their zip code by entering information into a tool that calculates the total cost comparisons including the premium, out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs, and estimated out-of-pocket medical costs.

Prime began offering its health plan clients a private-labeled version of DRX PlanCompare on April 1, 2012. The technology, which is licensed by the government, leading health plans, PBMs, insurance field marketing organizations, brokers and call centers, has been used by those organizations to help get over 10 million Medicare beneficiaries enrolled. Drug plan comparisons include full prescription drug, formulary and pharmacy pricing.
