Today marks the beginning of open enrollment for Healthy Pennsylvania, a Medicaid expansion program expected to cover about 600,000 residents, most of them low-income, single, working adults. Tom Corbett also continues its Medicaid overhaul, which would offer additional benefits to more than 900,000 residents already on Medicaid, even though Democratic Gov.-elect Tom Wolf opposes the "complicated" overhaul process.
