NCQA Boosts Health Net’s California Medicare Plans to “Excellent” Accreditation

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Health Net of California’s Medicare HMO plans have been elevated from “Commendable” to “Excellent” Accreditation status for Health Plan Accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

NCQA awards its highest accreditation status of “Excellent” to health plans with programs for service and clinical quality that meet or exceed rigorous requirements for consumer protection and quality improvement. Health Net’s HEDIS(R) (NCQA’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set)1 results are in the highest range of national performance.
