The Mount Sinai Health System announced today its plans to team up with Empire BlueCross BlueShield and join Empire's Pathway Network. The new collaboration will serve members in New York who purchase plans both on or off the state's exchange. The Network itself consists of nearly 49,000 physicians and 83 in-network hospitals. The network will aim to transfer its model of care to one that is more patient-centered.
