IntegraCare Closes Acquisition of Outreach’s Medicare Services Business

GRAPEVINE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- IntegraCare Holdings, Inc., a visionary provider of Home Health, Hospice and Community Services, has closed its acquisition of Outreach Health Service’s Medicare Services (“OMS”) business this date. Outreach is a trusted provider of homecare services with over 35 years of service in dozens of communities. With this acquisition, IntegraCare strengthens its leadership position as a prominent home health services agency, expanding its service area footprint within the state of Texas and delivering on the promise of exceptional in-home care.

“At IntegraCare, we pride ourselves on integrity and teamwork, which I believe is very consistent with the principles and culture that Outreach operates under,” stated David Hagey, President and CFO of IntegraCare. “In fact, one of the primary reasons that Buddie Ball [CEO, Outreach] decided to sell Outreach’s Medicare business to IntegraCare was because there is that communality between our two organizations.”

IntegraCare and OMS have an agreement to help facilitate a seamless transition for OMS clients and employees alike. “The combination of our two organizations will make us a stronger company to compete in this ever-changing regulatory environment, and IntegraCare will continue to invest in our employees by providing the latest technology tools so that our clinicians can provide the highest quality of care to our patients,” said Mr. Hagey.

IntegraCare’s home health division is the Company’s largest service line. Outreach has 13 Medicare offices, most of which expands the IntegraCare Service area. Pre-closing, IntegraCare serviced over 140 counties and provided care to more than 2,100 Home Health patients. “By joining our home health businesses, IntegraCare will increase its service area to over 180 counties, and will provide care to over 2,800 patients,” said Chris Gerard, CEO of IntegraCare. “OMS has always provided quality care to their patients, offering many of the same services as IntegraCare. However, we bring additional benefits to OMS clients, referral sources and to the community, as we provide a number of specialty programs, Cardiac Care, Rehospitalization Prevention and Low Vision Programs to name a few, and our state-of-the-art Point-of-Care software enables our caregivers to efficiently coordinate care with physicians, caseworkers and in-house staff.”

“In acquiring certain agencies and/or divisions, IntegraCare has always had the goal of partnering with a seller who is a recognized leader in the field, one that could help to facilitate a smooth transition for their customers and one that wants extremely promising opportunities to be presented to their employees,” added Mr. Gerard. “And with this acquisition, we believe we have achieved this objective.”
