Insurers to see health exchange rules soon

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has sent two health insurance exchange-related rules--one addressing requirements for qualified health plans and the minimum standards for essential health benefits--to the Office of Management and Budget, which is one of the last phases in the rulemaking process. In other words, insurers should expect to see the rules issued very soon, perhaps in the next few days or weeks. HHS also sent a proposed rule tackling specific requirements for state health insurance markets, reported CQ HealthBeat. Article
