Insurers live chat with members through new health app

Health insurers now have a new way to commiunicate with members -- live and almost in person. The new iPhone app created by Warm Health, a healthcare communications and disease management company, features a live chat option to create a direct line of communication between members and their insurers' care management staff, reported MedCity News. With the Warm Health App, which is available on iTunes, insurance members can record their mood, weight and other personal information that can help prompt a conversation with their care manager.
