Humana Appoints Commercial Market President for Illinois

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) has named Dave Reynolds as president of its Illinois Commercial market operations, effective immediately.

In this role, Reynolds has responsibility for Humana’s commercial health insurance business in Illinois, including the market’s strategic direction, growth and financial performance. He reports to Humana’s Midwest Commercial Operations CEO, Larry Savage.

Reynolds has been with Humana since 2004 and previously served as vice president and practice leader for Humana’s large group sales team in Illinois. During that time, Reynolds successfully recruited and developed talented sales associates, fostered a culture of success and helped create innovative ideas to expand Humana’s presence in Illinois.

Reynolds brings 20 years of experience in the health care industry to his new role. Prior to joining Humana, Reynolds served as vice president of sales at WebMD. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in economics. He is active throughout the Illinois community, and currently serves as a board member of the First Tee of Chicago. Reynolds is based out of Humana’s Chicago office.
