Positions include base salary, incentive pay and full benefits package
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), Florida’s largest Medicare health benefits provider, today announced plans to add another 140 positions to its fulltime workforce at its national Medicare marketing and telesales call center in Tampa.
The new call center positions, which include telesales specialists and frontline supervisors, will increase Humana’s Tampa Bay workforce to more than 2,200 employees by mid-summer, including some 1,100 fulltime associates at Humana’s Medicare call centers in East Tampa.
Humana’s Medicare Direct Marketing Services (DMS) telesales call center is located in Tampa at NetPark, 5701 E Hillsborough Ave. The DMS call centers in Florida, Arizona and Puerto Rico provide national telesales support for Humana’s Medicare benefit plans and senior products as well as individual health and specialty products.
Humana’s Khursheed Zafar, vice president, Direct Marketing Services, said the company is currently recruiting candidates for the 140 positions in Tampa and hopes to have all positions filled by the end of July in order to meet Humana’s growth and strategic objectives.
