> Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida is opening a new retail insurance store, allowing people to buy health insurance and talk to representatives about insurance options, as well as research providers, treatments, and costs, reports the Palm Beach Post. The Florida Blue store also will offer wellness checks, health screenings, and fitness classes. Article

> Aetna is continuing its appeal to overturn the Louisiana Health Department's decision to award a statewide Medicaid program worth $2.2 billion to other health insurers, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. It is now asking Commissioner of Administration Paul Rainwater to throw out the department's selections.

> WellPoint has completed its acquisition of Medicare Advantage plan CareMore Health Group, which provides coverage and coordinated care for about 54,000 people and operates 26 clinics, the Associated Press reports.
