Connecticut's Kevin Counihan to head HealthCare.Gov

After a series of highly publicized and criticized glitches during its rollout last fall, the Department of Health and Human Services has appointed a new CEO for HealthCare.Gov. Kevin Counihan, the head of Connecticut's health insurance marketplace, will take the helm of the website, now used by 36 states to sell health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, according to an HHS announcement.
