Conifer Health Solutions First to Earn Key Industry Recognition for Business Office Management Solution

FRISCO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Conifer Health Solutions announced it is the first company to have its Business Office Management Solution granted the “Peer Reviewed by HFMA” designation by the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Conifer earned the recognition following a rigorous process that is designed to provide healthcare leaders with an objective, third-party evaluation of products and services used in the healthcare finance workplace.

The Peer Review process consisted of a rigorous 11-step, high-level screening by a panel that included current Conifer clients; hospitals that selected other companies for their revenue cycle needs and did not make a purchase from Conifer; and expert HFMA Peer Review Board members. A product or service is granted Peer Review status approval based on its effectiveness, quality and usability, price, value and customer and technical support.

"For years, HFMA members have asked us to identify viable healthcare finance resources and to filter some of the noise in the marketplace," says HFMA President and CEO Richard L. Clarke, FHFMA. "We see the new Peer Review Process as a powerful opportunity to do just that."

The “Peer Reviewed by HFMA” designation for Conifer’s Business Office Management Solution will help hospitals and healthcare systems that are considering Conifer by providing them with a valuable evaluation of the company’s A/R management solutions, which in turn can save a significant amount of time in their search. The designated status means hospitals can benefit from the research completed by the Peer Review board and can be assured of broad market research.

“We understand the financial issues hospitals face,” said Conifer President Stephen M. Mooney. “Unlike collection agencies, IT providers or consultants, Conifer and our Business Office Management Solution grew from the hospital business. And that heritage has provided us a unique opportunity to build best-in-class solutions that meet the needs of the ever-changing healthcare environment today and will allow us to maximize yield for hospitals and healthcare systems tomorrow and beyond.”
