CIGNA St. Louis Rated as the Top Health Plan in Missouri for 2010-2011 by National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CIGNA HealthCare of St. Louis has been ranked as the highest rated health plan in the market, according to National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).**

The rankings are based on the NCQA's measurement of a health plan's performance in three categories: improving health care quality, providing responsive customer service and achieving high scores on NCQA accreditation surveys.

Quality results are measured through HEDIS® (HealthCare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) and customer service scores are based on member surveys through CAHPS® (Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems). Score also includes NCQA accreditation survey results.
