Highlights:
- Operating earnings for the fourth quarter totaled $255 million or $.63 per share, an increase of 58 percent per share over 2009
- Full-year 2010 operating earnings were $1.6 billion, or $3.68 per share, up 34 percent per share over 2009
- Net income per share was $.53 for Q4 2010 and $4.18 for the full year
- Commercial medical benefit ratio was 80.7 percent in the fourth quarter and 80.6 percent for full-year 2010
- Medical membership totaled 18.5 million members at Dec. 31, 2010
- Aetna projects full-year 2011 operating earnings per share of $3.70 to $3.80
