Aetna Extends Online Health and Wellness Program to AARP Essential Premier Health Insurance Members

Beginning today, Aetna (NYSE: ) is making its Simple Steps To A Healthier Life Programavailable to policy-holders of AARP Essential Premier Health Insurance, insured by Aetna. The online program, which is already available to Aetna’s employer customers, includes a simple health assessment to help members understand their current health and possible health risks. The program also features online wellness coaching programs to help members:

Before starting a new health and wellness program, it’s important that members know their current health. As part of the health assessment, members will be asked questions about their health history and health habits. Health assessment responses are confidential; however, Aetna does use the information to identify members who may need nurse outreach.
