You're invited! Have breakfast with Fierce...and CMS Medical Director Barry Straube

Many of you are heading to the Washington, D.C., Convention Center next week to attend the mHealth Summit, where Bill Gates and Aneesh Chopra are among the impressive roster of keynote speakers.

Consider also dropping by FierceMobileHealthcare's executive breakfast discussion on telemedicine, Tuesday morning, Nov. 9. Sponsored by LifeSize, it takes place just across the street from the Convention Center and is separate from the conference (so you don't need a conference registration to attend).

We've assembled an impressive line-up of our own: CMS Medical Director Barry Straube will be joined by Phoebe Yang, the FCC's senior advisor on broadband issues. Also rounding out the panel will be Dr. Adam Darkins, who oversees telemedicine for the entire U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; Dr. Karen Rheuban, a nationally-known telemedicine leader who oversees telemedicine at the University of Virginia Medical System; and Lynne Dunbrack, a telemedicine/telehealth analyst with Connected Health IT.

Neil Versel, our senior health IT editor, will moderate the "Oprah-style" discussion, probing on matters related to reimbursement, regulation, market trends, deployment and best-practices. It's a unique opportunity to engage with these leaders in an unscripted, intimate setting of about 100 to 150 of your colleagues. But as you can imagine, seats are filling up fast. So don't waffle too long!

So what would YOU ask Dr. Straube if you had a chance to grab breakfast with him?

We hope to see you there next Tuesday! (You can register here.)

Best wishes,

- Wendy
