SPOTLIGHT: Android apps

Lest anyone forget, there's a fifth mobile operating system out there, joining Palm OS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Apple's iPhone in a very competitive marketplace. It's from Google and it's an open-source offering called Android. It also trails Apple badly in sales of third-party applications. Google says the next upgrade to Android will improve the app navigation and selection process, and health is one of four new sub-categories that Google has added to its Android Market (along with sports, themes and comics--go figure).
