AT&T tests WellDoc diabetes app on its own employees

AT&T, ostensibly to boost credibility for its mHealth partner WellDoc's DiabetesManager product, is pushing the technology to its own employees. They'll use the system to check glucose levels and will recieve motivational messages and reminders aimed at helping them manage their diabetes. The telecom giant already announced a simliar project earlier this year for employees at Health Care Services Corp., one of the largest U.S. insurers. DiabetesManager was the first FDA-approved mHealth device for Type 2 diabetes in adults. Article
