Only program built specifically for ACL procedures to guide patients through surgery and recovery
Chicago, IL – Wellbe, Inc. announced today the official debut of the Patient Guidance System for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Reconstruction Surgery at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Annual Meeting.
Wellbe designed the system in conjunction with surgeons, care coordinators, and physical therapists to provide patients with multiple benefits including the convenience of online education, family involvement, checklists and reminders. The system is fully aligned with other points of care – including pre-admissions testing and rehabilitation -- to create a single, streamlined experience.

The program, currently in use at a Wisconsin academic medical center, is accessed via the web on PCs or iPads. Hospitals or surgery centers can enroll patients when they are scheduled for surgery, and the program covers the entire patient care journey, providing timely instructions, education (including videos), preparation checklists, decision-support tools, and feedback surveys. Enrolled patients find the simple program helps them move through surgery and recovery confident and worry-free.
