Today, announced twelve finalists for the . The finalists were selected based on how their transformative solutions are addressing the most pressing needs in healthcare.

“The number of quality nominations this year validates the growth and importance of connected health solutions for the industry,” said Chris Hoffmann, Senior Director at TripleTree. “Our evaluation committee was pleasantly surprised by the challenge of selecting a dozen companies from such a high quality field of over 60 applicants.”

The TripleTree iAwards were created to recognize exceptional companies that are demonstrating insight, innovation, and initiative in healthcare. Applicants are evaluated based upon a range of criteria including the clinical, operational or consumer relevance of their solution, marketplace traction, functional uniqueness, size of addressable market and international presence.

Each organization will be featured at the 8 annual , which annually attracts over 350 healthcare executives, innovators, thought leaders, and investors from across the globe. The Summit will be held on May 28-30, 2013 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, where winners of each iAward category will be announced.
