Study: Many use Internet to research gene therapy

A study in the Journal of Medical Internet Research used social media to investigate what type of information people are seeking out about gene therapy, and found that users are looking for a wide range of information on the internet about the subject. The study used a content analysis of questions containing the keywords "gene therapy" from "Yahoo! Answers" between 2006 and 2010.
