Four keynote speakers, including Aetna Executive Vice President Gary Loveman, will headline the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives' annual CIO Forum in Palazzo Ballroom D on Monday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Loveman, who will serve as the event's afternoon keynote speaker at 1:30 p.m., will discuss how big data is helping to improve efficiency in the healthcare industry.
Thomas Goetz, founder and CEO of San Francisco-based digital health company Iodine, which uses data and design to improve healthcare consumer decision-making, will kick off the event at 9:30 a.m., with a discussion focused on experience-driven medicine and future industry trends.
Jack Uldrich, a global futurist, will lead a mid-morning discussion beginning at 11:30, focusing on leadership flexibility.
Cary Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot, will close out the forum at 3 p.m. Her talk will focus on using teamwork to overcome daily obstacles, fearless leadership and prioritizing personal fulfillment.
