Next month, former national health IT coordinator David Brailer plans to announce what kind of healthcare investments he'll make. Brailer, who's now in charge of private equity firm Health Evolution Partners, has a hefty $700 million in capital to spend from the California Public Employees Retirement System, so he should be making some waves.
