Skylight Healthcare Systems Announces Two Additions to Clinical Advisory Board

Gwynn Perlich of St. Vincent Health and Karie Ryan of Health First Elected to 2-Year Term

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skylight Healthcare Systems, the leading provider of interactive patient care systems, announced the addition of Gwynn Perlich and Karie Ryan to their Clinical Advisory Board (CAB). These highly regarded healthcare leaders will be joining an accomplished group of nursing and clinical executives from leading organizations throughout the United States. The Skylight CAB provides an independent voice and guidance on key issues relating to Interactive Patient Systems and how they can increase patient engagement, enhance clinical workflow, and support strategic initiatives including improvement in HCAHPS scores.

Gwynn Perlich, RN, MSN, MBA is Vice President Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. Gwynn has worked for St. Vincent Hospital system for over 31 years, the last 10 years in executive leadership positions, and the last 8 years at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Gwynn was active on the board of directors for the Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives and is past president of CIONE. Gwynn received her Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, her Masters in Nursing Administration from Indiana University, and her MBA from Anderson University

Karie Ryan, RN, MS, BSN is Chief Clinical Informatics Officer at Health First in Melbourne, Florida. Karie has worked for Health First since 1997 in several nursing leadership roles including most recently serving as the Vice President of Nursing for Palm Bay Hospital, one of four Health First hospitals in Brevard County. Karie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. She also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Healthcare Informatics from the University of California-Davis.
