As has been mentioned in our sister publication FierceHealthcare, America Online Co-founder Steve Case is trying to start a revolution. The web pioneer's online health portal, called Revolution Health, is currently in the private Beta stage, giving a few invited guests an early glimpse of the community site. Case's idea is to create a sort of "wellness portal" where users can assess their health risks, set personal goals for physical health and trade information on local physicians. Revolution Health is a venture of the Revolution Health Group, one of the three business groups that makes up Revolution LLC, the company that Case founded after leaving Time Warner (AOL's parent company), in 2005.
