> Researchers at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland are building avatar-based clinical decision support technology for caregivers using a $460,000 grant from the National Institute of Nursing Research, the school announced this week. "We are taking advantage of serious gaming technology to create an interactive learning experience that is customizable to the caregiver's decisional needs and prior decision-making experience," Ronald Hickman, a professor at Case Western's School of Nursing, explained. Announcement
