Premier Healthcare Alliance Physician among First to Receive NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Expert™ Certification

Josh Bennett, MD, MBA, principal of integrated clinical services for the , is among the first in the country to earn certification as an NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Content Expert.

Dr. Bennett is one out of only 112 population health professionals nationwide to receive this distinction for in-depth knowledge of the requirements, application process and documentation for PCMH Recognition.

Content Expert Certification allows those seeking NCQA PCMH Recognition a way to gauge the qualifications of the growing numbers of professionals who are available to help medical homes prepare for NCQA PCMH evaluation.

PCMH Certified Content Experts™ complete two rigorous education seminars and pass a comprehensive exam validating their knowledge of NCQA Recognition standards and guidelines, application procedures, survey processes and documentation requirements. The designation of a PCMH Certified Content Expert is valid for two years and is renewable.

He is board certified in family practice, has an MBA in health systems management from DeSales University and is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
