OSI Systems Awarded $3.5 Million Contract for Patient Monitoring & Connectivity Solutions

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that its Healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has been awarded an approximate $3.5 million contract from a Minnesota healthcare system. Spacelabs’ unique patient monitoring and networking solutions are expected to help create a virtual ICU, allowing the centralized, real-time monitoring of patients’ vital signs from multiple care centers across the hospital’s wide area network.
