Online Portal Facilitates Streamlined Communication and Processes, and Enables Greater Ease of Doing Business for Providers in OCM’s Diagnostic Network

This secure online portal enables OCM network providers to have convenient 24/7 access to information and to streamline communication, patient scheduling, claims management, authorizations, and re-credentialing of facilities.

The workers’ compensation and healthcare industries have often experienced inefficiency in processing requests for diagnostic services, such as electromyography, MRIs, and CT scans, as well as delays in their back-office operations and communicating provider updates. OCM now resolves these issues with its new provider portal.

OCM’s provider portal offers an intuitive, user-friendly interface. To sign up, OCM network providers create a user name and password to securely access the site. In the past, calling and waiting to receive information via fax was time-consuming, whereas providers can now access the same information via the OCM portal in a fast and efficient manner. With on-demand access, provider offices no longer have to worry about working within call center hours of operation. The portal offers interactive tools that make it easy for providers to:

  • Manage Patient Exams. OCM network providers can view all of their OCM-scheduled exams, schedule patients, check the status of appointments, and reschedule as needed.
  • Upload Medical Reports. Providers can upload medical reports to individual patient files or upload reports in bulk.
  • Manage Claims. Providers can submit claims, as well as check the status of a claim and claim payments; and perform HCFA and UB92 processing.
  • Obtain Authorizations. With online access, providers can now view and print authorizations at their convenience.
  • Streamline re-credentialing of facilities. The process of re-credentialing facilities was previously paper-based and labor-intensive. Now through the portal, the process to re-credential facilities is simple and easy.
