nTelagent Names Merle Glasgow Chief Sales Officer

nTelagent, Inc., a leader in point-of-service revenue cycle software solutions for healthcare providers, announced today that Merle Glasgow will lead the company’s sales team as Chief Sales Officer. Mr. Glasgow has more than 25 years of experience in providing healthcare technology and service-based solutions to the healthcare industry with a focus on revenue cycle, ecommerce and workflow solutions.

nTelagent’s technology provides real-time, customized scripts that guide patient access staff through each patient registration, allowing registrars to inform patients of their financial responsibilities and improve collections at the beginning of the revenue cycle. Mr. Glasgow has served since 2007 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for revenue cycle company ARx, which provides business office operations support and revenue recovery services to hospitals across the country. Prior to ARx, he helped lead a number healthcare technology and service companies including nTelagent, where Mr. Glasgow was involved in the rollout of the company’s initial technology platform. His career includes seven years with Montreal-based Future Electronics Corporation, one of the world’s leading semiconductor distributors, as General Manager of the company’s largest division in San Jose, California, and later as Regional e-Commerce Director for the southeastern U.S. region. He was with Pitney Bowes/Dictaphone Corporation for eight years in a number of leadership roles including Western Region Systems Manager and National Sales Trainer.
